Weekly Blog Roundup: 1/5/2013

Oky, I'm going to try to get better with the weekly blog selections this year. I've let myself get way too lazy lately, but time for that to end! I'm easing back into the blog world out there, so only a few selections this week:

  2. Love the Bold Italic post about Oakland since I'm right next door in Alameda :-) I really enjoy Speisekammer as well, especially since they have music quite often and its free! You can check their website for upcoming bands. How can you not love live music as you sip a tasty German brew?

    That Midcentury Supper Club party looked amazing, too. Some very unique dishes indeed!

    1. So funny, Elisa. We were just in Alameda yesterday! (Glasses-shopping at the flea market.) We love Alameda, especially La Pinata!

      Oakland really has become amazing over the last several years. I constantly brag about the revitalized downtown to visitors. Favorite bar there still remains Van Cleef's!
